Second Hand Cameras in Nepal — Used DSLR & Mirrorless

Cameras are checked on the things that actually decide whether a used body is worth buying: shutter count, sensor condition under a loupe, autofocus accuracy across points, mount wear, dials, viewfinder and any fungus in the glass. Shutter count is published on every body we list.

Shutter count, explained for buyers

A DSLR shutter is rated for a number of actuations — often 100,000 to 300,000 depending on the class of body. A body at 30,000 actuations has most of its life ahead of it. Any seller who will not tell you the shutter count is asking you to guess.

DSLR or mirrorless for Nepal conditions

DSLRs still make sense if you want battery life on multi-day treks and cheap second-hand glass. Mirrorless wins on weight, video and autofocus. Both are represented here, and the lens you can afford matters more than the badge on the body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy a used DSLR camera in Nepal?

Camera Mobile Zone sells second-hand and refurbished DSLR and mirrorless cameras across Nepal, including Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fujifilm bodies and lenses, with the shutter count published on every body and delivery available nationwide. Used camera gear in Nepal is otherwise mostly traded privately through Facebook groups and classifieds, where shutter count and sensor condition are usually not disclosed.

What should I check before buying a second-hand DSLR camera?

Check the shutter count first, because it tells you how much life the shutter mechanism has left, then inspect the sensor for dust and scratches, look through the lens for fungus or haze, test autofocus across multiple points, and check the mount, dials and rubber grips for wear. Every camera body listed by Camera Mobile Zone includes its shutter count, and bodies with sensor or lens fungus are not listed at all.

Is warranty included with refurbished products?

Yes. Every device sold by Camera Mobile Zone ships with a minimum six-month seller warranty, and up to twelve months on selected devices, covering functional defects. The exact warranty period for each product is shown on its product page. Physical damage and liquid damage caused after delivery are not covered.

Does Camera Mobile Zone deliver across Nepal?

Yes, Camera Mobile Zone delivers free across Nepal from its shop at Hatkhola, Biratnagar. Deliveries inside Biratnagar are usually same day, Itahari and Dharan same day to next day, Kathmandu Valley and Chitwan typically one to two working days, and Pokhara, Butwal and western districts usually two to three working days. Cash on delivery is available on most routes.
